'At 73, young men still disturb me for sex'- actress Taiwo Ajai-Lycett
4/7/2014 2:48:00 PM

"People tell me sex is good, sex is necessary, that is true. But the truth is young people, lets say men of very young age always hit me all the time for sex. They always disturb me for sex at my age. I am 73years old, I don't know whether it seems they don't know my age or whatever it is. But it says something about life, that life goes on and that beauty and age are in the eyes of the beholder. Yeah, at 73, young men disturb me for sex and I can't understand that. They don't care or know whether I am old or not, all they want from me is sex. A 43 year old is on his knees now asking me for marriage. This shows that I am still very much alive. I could have remarried if the circumstance had been different. I also have a 53year old man who wants to marry me. When you fall in love, you fall in love. You can't command the heart to fall in love and it wouldn't be a relationship if love isn't involved. The heart wants what the heart wants. The heart does not know whether you are old or not".

30 year old Law School student commits suicide in Abuja
4/7/2014 5:26:00 PM
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Joseph Kwaji, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Jalingo on Monday, saying the matter was under investigation.
According to him, the body of the deceased was found dangling from a ceiling fan at Mairiga Guest Inn, Takum.
He said the deceased, until his death, was a suspect in a case of murder involving his younger brother, Ahmed, who allegedly connived with their mother, Aisha, to murder their father, Haruna Mohammed.
He said that the deceased's brother (Ahmed), 27, was being detained for abducting and hanging his father to death in the suburb of Gembu over his father's alleged marriage of a second wife against the wishes of his wife.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that there is an upsurge in suicide cases in Taraba.
Kwaji attributed the increase in cases of suicide to drug abuse and frustration.
"Most of these young men commit suicide as a result of drug abuse and frustration in life. Suicide is not the solution to our problems. Killing oneself is not only contrary to the laws of the land, but also against our religions,'' Kwaji said.
NAN recalls that two incidents of suicide were recorded in Jalingo in February.
One involved a 400 Level student of the Taraba University, Friday Samson, 32, who poisoned himself to death over lack of funds to pay his school fees.
The other incident involved a watchman, Saidu Babura, 45, who hung himself on a tree at Hassan Primary School, Jalingo, after an alleged battle against drug abuse.
In January, 21 year-old Mansur Tanko burnt himself to death in Jalingo because his father, Tanko Mijinyawa, allegedly refused to approve of his plan to marry.

Moment Nigerian man tried to invade Buckingham Palace
4/7/2014 5:04:00 PM
Speaking to The Sun, Tosin said: 'I wanted to speak with the Queen and presumed the Royal Family would have welcomed me as their lost son." Lol. What does this guy smoke? Continue...
From UK Daily Mail
Passers-by reported how the would-be intruder said 'Oh you're a big boy now' to the soldier - thought to be Scottish - who in turn replied 'Yes I am a big boy' before pushing him.
Royal protection officers then ushered the man away, though he was not arrested.
He told the newspaper that the incident on Friday was his fifth attempt to get into the palace, and that before he has been so sure of being allowed in that he brought a toothbrush with him.
Odunaiya claims that his past visits were made to lobby the Queen over Syria, but that now he just wants help going home to Nigeria - as he hates it in Britain.
It is unusual for soldiers to leave their post unless a Royal is under threat, as the Metropolitan Police are responsible for most issues related to guarding the palace.
But it is believed that the soldier who intervened has the backing of his superiors.
The Metropolitan police said that they gave the man 'words of advice'.
A spokesman said: 'An incident occurred at the north centre gate of Buckingham Palace at approximately 17.50hrs on Friday 4th April.
'Officers from Royalty protection spoke to a male and he was given words of advice. There were no arrests.'
Scotland Yard refused to elaborate on why the man was not arrested.
A statement from the Army said: 'We are aware of an incident outside Buckingham Palace on Friday and while no one came to any harm and there were no arrests, we are very clear that the Metropolitan Police lead on Royal Security arrangements including outside the Palace itself.'
