6/19/2014 12:01:00 PM

Who watched the Cameroon vs Croatia match last night? The Cameroonians, who lost 4-0 to Croatia were so frustrated that they turned against each other...lol. In the 90th minute of the match, Cameroon defended Benoit Assou-Ekotto headbutted teammate Benjamin Moukandjo after exchanging a few words with him. Another teammate Pierre Webo had to break the pair up at it seemed they were ready to forget the football they came to Brazil to play and fight each other in front of millions of football fans. I did a screen grab from the video. See more photos and the video after the cut...

Before the headbutt, Cameroon midfielder Alex Song got a red card in the 40th minute of the match for elbowing Croatia striker Mario in the back. The red card reduced Cameroon to 10 men
Coup d' etat rumours unfounded – CDS
6/19/2014 12:11:00 PM
The Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, has refuted rumors of a possible coup d' etat by the military, stating that the rumour was unfounded.
ACM Badeh stated this on Tuesday June 18th while receiving the Director General of the National Orientation Agency , Dr Mike Omeiri in his office. He said the Military would always work to protect the democracy of Nigeria and not destroy it.
"Rumours in some quarters of a possible coup d'état in the country are unfounded. Why should anyone be thinking in the negative fashion? Tell them we will not do it. Those spreading rumours of coups must be living elsewhere and not in Nigeria. The Armed Forces are defenders of democracy. We are an arm of democracy, so how can an arm of democracy work against the democracy that we are part of?" he said
