According to the prosecutor of the case, Cpl Innocent Odugbo, the suspect, a resident of 221, Temple Heights, Flat 6, Banana Island, Lagos, had in July this year conspired with one Alex Sossou, a cook who is currently at large, to steal from the senator's house. Continue...

Upon his arrival at her home, Sossou is alleged to have broken into a safe in her bedroom and stole the cash, jewelry as well as her land documents. He thereafter absconded to his village in the Republic of Benin. Efforts to get him arrested have so far yielded no result.
