I just called the widow who was verbally abused by the sitting governor of Edo state and she confirms that she has not received a penny from anyone.
She also says her wares were not returned but that she was taken to the governor on Friday November 29,2013 and he physically apologised to her but did not give her anything,she says he promised

Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo today Friday November 29,2013 apologised for the comments he made to a widow in Benin during an inspection tour on Mission Road, in the state capital, a fortnight ago.



Oshiomhole said that he now regretted the comments which had become the subject of discourse in the social media.
