Eclipse Live today announced that it has partnered with Jameson and Chisco to launch a Park 'n' Ride scheme for the Gidi Culture festival, set to take place at Elegushi private beach on Sunday 2nd March, 2014.

The Park 'n' Ride initiative, operated by Eclipse Live in association with Jameson and Chisco can be used by festival goers who wish to park their cars and travel into the festival on the special shuttle buses, which will be available on the day. Buses will run frequently, picking up travellers from centrally located designated pick up points at Ozone and Unilag as well as parking locations in CMS and Ruby Gardens. Continue...

The Park 'n' Ride initiative aims to reduce the dangers of drink driving and encourage festival goers to use this safe option. ' The Drink Safely' campaign launched by Eclipse Live aims to promote responsible drinking through out its events, ensuring that the safety of its visitors is top priority.  According to the 2012 federal road safety report, over 4,260 people die each month as a result of road accidents with drink driving a major cause of this menace.
The initiative aids stress free movement in and around the festival ensuring a free flow of movement for visitors. The Park 'n' Ride scheme also provides a hassle free-way for visitors to get into the festival, helping to reduce congestion around the site and alleviating some of the pressure on the car parks.
The organisers of  the festival have made it their mission to provide live, affordable entertainment within a safe environment and to achieve this, security firm, K-Squared have been hired as the official security partner for the festival. Police members from The Nigerian Police Force will be deployed to the festival site for added security around the venue.
We want our visitors to have a good time in a safe and secure environment and to ensure that this is possible, we have enlisted the help of reputable security agencies within Nigeria". said Teme Banigo, Eclipse Live founder.
Students with a valid student I.D will be able to travel free on the Park 'n' Ride shuttle buses. Concession tickets will also be available for Park 'n' Ride travellers.
